- Definition:
- Patient whose breath sounds aren't clear. This is determined by listening over the lung fields with stethoscope. The lungs may be filled with fluid or mucous.
- Usage:
- Dr. Barry ask's a nurse, "How does patient's lungs sound?" The nurse replies, "He sounds really junky."
- Synonyms:
- Course, Rhonchi, Crackles
